KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Administer and manage security in, and access to, a large and diverse Active Directory multi-forest, multi-domain environment. This includes, but is not limited to, creating and maintaining user accounts and groups, performing Sarbanes Oxley compliant access functions, and when requested working with the client during audits.

  • Verifies of proper authorization on all requests for security access changes, rejects all requests lacking proper authorization.

  • Fulfills requests to IT/IS systems in accordance with the controls and requirements that govern information security access.

  • Creates, modifies, and deletes user and service accounts.

  • Creates, modifies, and deletes security groups and attributes within multiple applications.

  • Tracks day to day request and completes requests within established time frames.

  • Provide positive feedback and input regarding current processes and provide performance improvement documentation annually.

  • Resolves issues referred from help desk related to security access.

  • Monitor trouble ticket and request queues and perform triage activity to ensure the correct Security personnel are assigned the appropriate tickets.

  • May be required to be available to fill on call scheduling.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • US Citizenship required.

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Basic knowledge of Active Directory group and account administration, domain structures, user authentication, and digital signatures

  • Ability to multitask; strong organizational skills.

  • Communication skills to interact with team members, customers, management and support personnel.

  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.

  • Ability to execute procedures and follow established policy and procedure.

OTHER DESIRED CAPABILITIES

  • Create scripts to automate procedures and functions.

  • Basic experience coding PowerShell is desirable.

  • Analytical and problem solving skills for design, creation and testing of security systems

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Willingness and demonstrated ability to learn new skills and assume new job responsibilities

  • Ability to accept and willingly adapt to procedural or policy changes dictated by the client or DXC Management

  • Ability to follow procedures and instructions precisely, paying close attention to detail

  • Basic familiarity with LDAP is desirable.

  • Experience working with Unix, and/or Linux is a plus, but not required
