The DXC Wisconsin Healthcare account is under contract with the state of Wisconsin to run its various healthcare programs (Medicaid, BadgerCare, SeniorCare, etc.). DXC has a communications team which is part of the account. The team is made up of 7 writers, a copy editor, managing editor and desk-top publisher.
Writers on the communication team:
Develop publications for healthcare providers such as physicians, hospitals, dentists, etc. These publications give providers information on how to bill, services covered, limitations, etc. We write between 75-100 publications per year.
Work closely with policy staff at the state and internal content experts at DXC to develop the publication information.
Must have strong project management skills and be able to handle multiple publications simultaneously (on average, writers are actively working on five to seven publications).
Must be able to do some web coding (or willingness to learn).

Ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects of varying complexity.
Degree in journalism, communications, or English.
1+ years of communications-related work or internships preferred.
