Summary

Provides highly complex communications support for the marketing, business development, and public relations needs of the organization. Researches, develops, implements, and publishes communication vehicles.

Essential Job Functions

  • Researches, develops, implements, and publishes complex communication vehicles; upgrades publications with regard to design and content to ensure content is accurate, timely, relevant and succeeds in conveying business and organizational messages to employees.

  • Coordinates with management and end users to develop more complex advertisements, collateral material, and direct mail pieces. Creates specifications/requirements to ensure management and end users' needs are met.

  • Prepares internal communications to keep internal personnel informed and meet business needs.

  • Writes and produces complex internal and external marketing communications materials including brochures, newsletters, presentations, advertisements, service sheets, employee handbooks and electronic communication.

  • Provides advice and materials to support field offices in need of more complex communications, local advertising, and promotional assistance.

  • Develops communications strategies and determines appropriate approach to resolve communication issues to meet business needs.

  • Plans and coordinates communication events or campaigns to meet business communication needs.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, communications or related field preferred

  • Nine or more years of communications experience

  • Experience working with industry writing style such as grammar, sentence form, and structure

  • Experience working with the computer industry

  • Experience working with communications practices, principles and procedures
