The Service Management Data Lead is the primary point of contact and subject matter expert for the activities related to the data and tool configurations to support successful deployment of SERVICE MANAGEMENT (SM) service on/for an account(s) during a deployment or transition project. During this project, they have complete end to end responsibilities for the discovery, collection, analysis, formatting, loading, configuring and validating the data that will support the successful implementation of the ITSM tool to support the contractual requirements of a SERVICE MANAGEMENT deployment, while keeping to the standards DXC has developed. Areas of responsibility include Service Desk, ITSM, Self Service, Systems Integration, and Reporting interface. The focus of the position is on the discovery, analysis, configuration and deployment execution activities for ITSM and the successful turnover to Operations.
Must have experience with ServiceNow (ServiceNow Administrator experience is a plus)
Overall responsibility for the data discovery, collection, analysis, loading and configuration of the ITSM tool for Service Management deployment projects
End to end ownership of data management component. This includes but is not limited to:
Responsible for the Data team progress reporting, adherence to schedule, and quality
Provides status and escalations first to the Engagement Lead, and/or Project Manager
Work with the Project Manager and Solutions Architect in overall data management effort
Support for Integration activities as required
Define data management resource requirements for Account Transition Manager to engage (and budget)
Coaching and assistance for the on-going support team
Governance of collateral
Oversee all data related issues and activities
Input into the test effort and support defect resolution
Prioritization of data efforts
Provide thought leadership to the projects in the area of data and configuration
Provide expert input and direction regarding the data components of the SM service
Participate and contribute to the requirements gap analysis; identify and manage any potential data gaps
Provide input to the continuous improvement of the SM service offering documentation, specifically in the area of data and configuration
Participate in SM standards development and Release Management for deployments as required.
Data Migration Plan, including task list and schedule
Data Kickoff presentation and Workshops
Data collected in appropriate manner, including standard templates, etc.
Overall data collection, transformation, validation and loading
Support for testing efforts

Education and Experience Required
1-3 years of professional experience and a Bachelor or equivalent degree or related area of study.
At least 1 year of experience using and configuring the following Service Management products like ServiceNow.
Experience with ITSM Data Tools and Methodologies
